Greenvalley School echoed with patriotic fervor on Monday, February 19th, 2024, as students celebrated the birth anniversary of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj with a captivating dance performance. The program, organized under the guidance of Principal Urmila Ma'am showcased the rich cultural heritage and valor of the Maratha Empire founder. The young performers enthralled the audience with their energetic renditions of powada, lazim, and kathi, traditional dance forms that narrate tales of bravery and sacrifice. Their synchronized steps, expressive movements, and vibrant costumes brought to life the life and legacy of Shivaji Maharaj, leaving a lasting impression on all present. Principal Urmila Ma'am, in her address, lauded the students' efforts and emphasized the importance of remembering and celebrating the ideals of Shivaji Maharaj, such as courage, justice, and good governance.
