The students of Greenvalley celebrated Janmashtami with great devotion and enthusiasm. The school was beautifully decorated with flowers and rangolis, and the students dressed up as Lord Krishna and Radha. The day began with a special assembly where the Principal Mrs Urmila Kanwar gave a speech about the significance of Janmashtami. The students then performed a variety of songs and dances, and there was also a short play about the life of Lord Krishna. The highlight of the event was the breaking of the dahi handi, a pot of curd filled with prizes. The students formed human pyramids to reach the pot, and there was a lot of excitement and laughter as they tried to break it open. The event ended with a delicious feast of traditional Indian dishes. The students enjoyed the food and the company, and they all had a wonderful time celebrating Janmashtami.
