In an effort to foster self-reliance and promote a connection with nature, the school organized a three-day camp for its students at a local farmhouse. During their stay at the farmhouse, the students immersed themselves in a variety of hands-on activities that challenged them to become self-sufficient. They learned essential skills such as cooking their own meals, growing and harvesting vegetables, and even creating their own clothing from natural materials. The camp was not just about survival skills; it was also an opportunity for students to connect with the environment and appreciate the importance of sustainable living. They learned about the delicate balance of nature and how their actions can impact the planet. The experience proved to be transformative for the students, instilling in them a sense of responsibility and a newfound appreciation for the simple things in life. They learned that self-reliance is not just about surviving but also about thriving and making a positive impact on the world around them.
